Laughter IS the BEST MEDICINE!!!!!

."L" is for laughter,
 So good for the soul,
An inward feeling of joy,
It can make one feel whole
Laughter is contagious,
So don't let it end,
Once you get started,
Share with a friend!
Some people are shy,
And make barely a sound,
While others guffaw,
With a noise most profound.
They say that laughter,
Can help relieve pain,
Because of an effect,
It has on the brain!
I think that all of us,
Should laugh a bit more,
Be it a giggle,
Or a more hearty roar!

The last few weeks have been filled with happiness, fun, memories and laughter..... Laughter is truly the best medicine.  God truly knows what is needed for the soul.  Between sitting around a campfire with new friends, who welcomed us into their home; to playing euchre with a great couple.  We laughed until our bellies hurt! We are currently organizing a new Bunco group, which I miss greatly, as I had the opportunity to play bunco through skype.  The advantages of technology is beyond my understanding, however to hear the voices of  old, dear friends was comforting to my soul.

 I truly pray God will bless these new friendships!

NEW FRIENDS AND OLD FRIENDS

MAKE NEW FRIENDS, BUT KEEP THE OLD;  THOSE ARE SILVER, THESE ARE GOLD.
NEW-MADE FRIENDSHIPS, LIKE NEW WINE,   AGE WILL MELLOW AND REFINE.
FRIENDSHIPS THAT HAVE STOOD THE TEST
TIME AND CHANGE ARE SURELY BEST;
BROW MAY WRINKLE, HAIR GROW GRAY,
FRIENDSHIP NEVER KNOWS DECAY.
FOR 'MID OLD FRIENDS TRIED AND TRUE,
ONCE MORE WE OUR YOUTH RENEW.
BUT OLD FRIENDS, ALAS MAY DIE,
NEW FRIENDS MUST THEIR PLACE SUPPLY.
CHERISH FRIENDSHIP IN YOUR BREAST
NEW IS GOOD, BUT OLD IS BEST;
MAKE NEW FRIENDS, BUT KEEP THE OLD;
THOSE ARE SILVER, THESE ARE GOLD.
